Recap: Hart 2 Hart Academy Warriors vs. Corinth Christian Academy Warriors
Even though the Hart 2 Hart Academy Warriors have not done well against the Corinth Christian Academy Warriors recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Hart 2 Hart Academy took down Corinth Christian Academy 63-46. Hart 2 Hart Academy didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this victory makes it their second in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hart 2 Hart Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Pate, who scored 22 points along with two steals. It was the first time this season that Pate scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Keen, who dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 blocks.
Despite the loss, Corinth Christian Academy had strong showings from Alden Hughes, who scored 17 points along with three steals, and Cason Amerson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Amerson scored 15 or more points. Colton Thomas was another key contributor, scoring five points along with three steals.
Hart 2 Hart Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Corinth Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
