Baseball Game Preview: Fulton Jaguars vs. East Valley Falcons

The Fulton Jaguars will face off against the East Valley Falcons at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fulton has given up an average of 11.6 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fulton came up short against Sherman Oaks CES on Monday, falling 26-1. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for East Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They never let Panorama get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Falcons needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Mike Aguirre was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

East Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .520. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Panorama only posted an OBP of .333.

East Valley's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Fulton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything went Fulton's way against East Valley in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Fulton made off with a 10-3 win. Does Fulton have another victory up their sleeve, or will East Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
