Softball Recap: Temple Academy Takes a Loss

Temple Academy had lost six straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 6-11 to make it seven. They lost 13-3 to the Carrabec Cobras. The Bereans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cobras from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Temple Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madelyn Grant, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

As for Carrabec, their record is now 7-11. Considering they have won six matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

On Carrabec's side, they got a massive performance out of Karen Baker, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Kaitlin Dellarma was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Temple Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carrabec, they will challenge North Yarmouth Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so the Cobras' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
