Volleyball Recap: Naperville Central Comes Up Short

Naperville Central lost against Wheaton-Warrenville South back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Redhawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

While Naperville Central had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20.

Naperville Central dropped their record down to 5-19 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, their win bumped their record up to 20-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naperville Central will square off against Waubonsie Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, they will host Lake Park at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
