Basketball Game Preview: A.L. Brown Wonders vs. Cox Mill Chargers

A.L. Brown hasn't had much luck against Cox Mill recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The A.L. Brown Wonders will challenge the Cox Mill Chargers at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 83-35, which was the final score in A.L. Brown's tilt against Hickory Ridge on Friday. The game marked the Wonders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Cox Mill didn't have quite enough to beat South Point on Friday and fell 79-76. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (69), the Chargers still had to take the loss.

Cox Mill now has a losing record at 5-6. As for A.L. Brown, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

A.L. Brown came up short against Cox Mill when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 72-64. Can A.L. Brown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
