Baseball Recap: Cahokia Takes a Loss

Cahokia lost against East St. Louis back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Comanches lost 18-1 to the Flyers. The defeat leaves the Comanches still looking for their first win of the season.

Cahokia's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for East St. Louis, they moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Cahokia and East St. Louis could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Comanches will face off against Marion at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (571 vs. 107). Meanwhile, East St. Louis (ranked 428th) will meet Belleville East (ranked 35th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
