Volleyball Recap: Standley Lake Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Standley Lake suffered their biggest loss since September 10, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Green Mountain Rams, falling 3-0. The Gators haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Standley Lake was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-13.

Jenna Warwick paced Standley Lake's offense, picking up 11 kills. Warwick got some help from Alivia Lambrecht-Gardner and her 15 assists. Finally, Genevieve Robertson kept Standley Lake's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Standley Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Green Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Standley Lake nor Green Mountain have any future games scheduled.
