            Basketball Recap: Paramus Spartans vs. Northern Highlands Highlanders        
        
		
        
        
            Paramus fought the good fight in their overtime  match against Northern Highlands  on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Northern Highlands Highlanders  71-66. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Highlanders: they've now lost five in a row.
  Zack Blacher went supernova for Northern Highlands,  going 8-for-15  on his way to 26 points. The dominant performance gave  Blacher a new career-high in  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Pharoahe Dixon, who  went 7-for-15  to rack up 18 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
Paramus' loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Northern Highlands, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-7.
 Paramus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Northern Highlands has  already played their next  game (against Hackensack), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
