Volleyball Recap: Academy for Academic Excellence's Undefeated Season over After Six Games + How To Watch

The Academy for Academic Excellence Knights came up short against the Barstow Aztecs on Monday and fell 3-1. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Academy for Academic Excellence started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-19.

Brin Bryant paced Academy for Academic Excellence's offense, picking up 25 kills. Bryant got some help from Colbie Tworek and her 30 assists. Tworek was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Academy for Academic Excellence fell to 5-1. As for Barstow, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Academy for Academic Excellence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Victor Valley Christian on the 26th. Barstow has also already played their next game (against University Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
