Basketball Recap: Caroline Comes Up Short

Caroline lost against Armstrong on December 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Caroline Cavaliers were beaten by the Armstrong Wildcats 80-38.

It was another big night for Cherish Daily, who posted 33 points for Armstrong. That makes it four consecutive games in which Daily has scored at least a third of Armstrong's points. Kamillah Brown was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Caroline now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Armstrong, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.

Caroline will face off against The Covenant at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Armstrong, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Atlee at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
