The Burlington School Spartans will head out on the road to square off against the Cristo Rey Research Triangle Bulls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Burlington School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.2 points per game this season.

The Burlington School is headed into the match having just posted their biggest win since February 17th on Tuesday. They blew past Burlington Christian Academy 70-41. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-12.

The Burlington School's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Kaden Hammond, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 boards, and Drew Johnson, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 21 points and five boards. Hammond is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cam Flippen, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists.

Meanwhile, Cristo Rey Research Triangle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by Durham Academy and fell 82-11. While losing is never fun, the Bulls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 465th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 116th).

The Burlington School is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Cristo Rey Research Triangle, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
