Basketball Recap: Yelm Takes a Loss

Yelm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Rogers Rams and fell 63-18. While losing is never fun, the Tornados can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 315th, while the Rams are ranked 74th).

Yelm's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Rogers, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Yelm will take on Sumner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rogers, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bethel at 7:00 p.m.
