Volleyball Recap: San Luis Obispo's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

San Luis Obispo suffered their biggest loss since May 16, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Santa Ynez Pirates, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Tigers haven't been shut out since back in March.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-18.

San Luis Obispo's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-7. As for Santa Ynez, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Looking ahead, San Luis Obispo is taking a road trip to challenge San Marcos at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Royals will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Santa Ynez, they will take on Atascadero at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
