After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Burton, Iola was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Snook Bluejays by a score of 12-7. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 14-0 win the Bluejays walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Iola's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-3. As for Snook, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10-1 record this season.

Iola will challenge Mumford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Snook, they will face off against Burton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Burton will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Snook surely won't give up without a fight.
