Basketball Recap: Hermon Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Hermon posted their closest victory since January 27, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-45 win over the Washington Academy Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-33 back in December of 2024.

Hermon's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10. As for Washington Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

As for Washington Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Bucksport at 6:30 p.m. Washington Academy is facing Bucksport at the right time seeing as Bucksport is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
