Softball Recap: Oliver Springs Has No Trouble Against Sunbright

Oliver Springs won against Greenback last Friday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Oliver Springs Bobcats put the hurt on the Sunbright Tigers with a sharp 13-1 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chyanne Ray looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Kenzie Russell was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Carlee Gallaher, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
