Ventura entered their tilt with Buena on Saturday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win last Tuesday.

Max Mechtenberg paced Ventura's offense, picking up seven kills. Mechtenberg got some help from Theodore Souther-Pasquarella and his 19 assists.
