Baseball Recap: Clarksburg Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Clarksburg was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Middleton Tigers, falling 16-1. The Rockets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 11-6.

Clarksburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Middleton, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarksburg will welcome Greenfield at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Middleton, they will host Walnut at 6:35 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.33 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
