Kearney put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 28-14 victory over the Grain Valley Eagles. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Eagles are ranked 46th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kearney's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Grain Valley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kearney will take on Raytown South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grain Valley, they will host Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.17 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
