Basketball Recap: Coleman Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bennington on Tuesday, Coleman came back down to earth. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 59-32 loss at the hands of the Rock Creek Mustangs. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Coleman dropped their record down to 3-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Rock Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Coleman and Milburn will shake off the rust and duke it out at 8:00 p.m. on December 9. As for Rock Creek, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kiowa at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. The Mustangs will be up against the Cowboys' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.6 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
