Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairfield Central). They claimed a resounding 70-33 win over the Chester Cyclones. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-17.

Fairfield Central's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Thomas Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. Johnson is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaden Mozie, who went 6 of 11 en route to 13 points and six rebounds.

Fairfield Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive games.

Fairfield Central is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Chester, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Fairfield Central will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Clinton at 8:00 p.m. Clinton will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Fairfield Central surely won't give up without a fight. Chester does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
