Softball Recap: Foundation Christian Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Foundation Christian Academy can now relate to. They lost 11-1 to the Seffner Christian Crusaders on Tuesday. The Panthers were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the four games prior), but the Crusaders' pitchers proved too tough.

Foundation Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was McKay Barron, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Foundation Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Seffner Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Foundation Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seffner Christian, they will challenge Lakeland Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
