Recap: Iredell Dragons vs. Meyer Ravens
After a 71-35 finish the last time they played, the Iredell Dragons and the Meyer Ravens decided to play a little more cautiously this time around. The game between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Iredell falling 32-13. They were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Meyer apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2018.
Meyer was led to victory by Skylar Hicks and Shelby Starr. Hicks scored nine points, while Starr scored ten points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Hicks has scored at least 25% of Meyer's points.
Iredell has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Meyer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-7.
Iredell's road trip will continue as they head out to face Blum at 5:00 p.m. on December 15th. Blum and Iredell are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Meyer, they will square off against Kerens at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Kerens is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
