Soccer Recap: Satellite Triumphs

Satellite extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Lake Wales. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lake Wales Highlanders. This was payback for the Scorpions, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Owen Franklin and Jeremy Davila scored all three of Satellite's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Satellite's victory bumped their record up to 10-5-2. As for Lake Wales, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9-1.

Satellite will square off against Mount Dora at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Mount Dora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.9 goals per game this season. Lake Wales does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
