Football Game Preview: Findlay Trojans vs. Northview Wildcats

The Findlay Trojans will square off against the Northview Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Findlay's defense has only allowed 14.4 points per game this season, so Northview's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Findlay made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Whitmer, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Trojans fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 35-33 on Friday. The close game was extra heartbreaking for the Trojans, who almost overcame a 21 point deficit.

Meanwhile, Northview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Anthony Wayne, falling 21-0. The shutout was out of character for the Wildcats seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Findlay's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Northview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for Findlay against Northview when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 42-6 victory. In that matchup, the Trojans amassed a halftime lead of 35-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
