Baseball Recap: Edison Academy Pioneers vs. Allen Park Jaguars
Edison Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They lost 15-2 to the Allen Park Jaguars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Edison Academy of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Edison Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aveon Royster, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Edison Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 18-10-1 record this season. As for Allen Park, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-6-1.
