Baseball Recap: Detroit Cristo Rey Takes a Loss

Detroit Cristo Rey might've scored the first runs on Thursday, but it was Greenhills who claimed the real prize. The WOLVES lost 13-3 to the Gryphons. If the WOLVES were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to the Gryphons when the teams met back in May of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Detroit Cristo Rey's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Greenhills, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season.

Detroit Cristo Rey will welcome Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenhills, they will face off against Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
