Baseball Recap: Bourgeois Takes a Loss

Bourgeois was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 10-6 to the Houma Christian Warriors. The Braves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Bourgeois got a big performance out of Kody Crochet, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Dawson Prejean was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Bourgeois' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Houma Christian, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

While Bourgeois had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
