Soccer Game Preview: The Hawbridge School vs. The Burlington School

The Hawbridge School will head out to square off against The Burlington School at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Thursday just wasn't the day for The Hawbridge School's offense. They came up short against Forsyth Home Educators on Thursday, falling 9-0. The Hawbridge School have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, The Burlington School waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Chancellors with a sharp 4-1 win. The Burlington School might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

The Burlington School now has a winning record of 8-7. As for The Hawbridge School, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

The Hawbridge School couldn't quite get it done against The Burlington School when the teams last played back in October of 2023 as they fell 2-0. Can the Herons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
