Sonoma Valley's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Napa Grizzlies 16-6. The Dragons have beaten the Grizzlies the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Grizzlies has come to flipping the script.

Sonoma Valley got a massive performance out of Katherine Kiser, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Kiser has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Sofia DeTorres, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Sonoma Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .586. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Sonoma Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Napa, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-18.

Looking ahead, Sonoma Valley will square off against Justin-Siena at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons are facing the Braves at the right time seeing as the Braves are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Napa, they will head out on the road to face off against Casa Grande at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gauchos will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Grizzlies surely won't give up without a fight.
