Soccer Recap: Denver South Comes Up Short

Denver South entered their contest against Arapahoe on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Ravens fell 3-1 to the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Denver South couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Addison Orr, who's now up to ten this season.

Denver South's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Arapahoe, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-1.

Denver South and Arapahoe should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Ravens will challenge George Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (27 vs. 102). Meanwhile, Arapahoe (ranked 20th) will meet Eaglecrest (ranked 91st) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
