Soccer Recap: Rapides Comes Up Short

Rapides lost to Beau Chene back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Gators by a score of 2-1. Rapides have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Rapides' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Beau Chene, they pushed their record up to 4-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Rapides will take on North DeSoto at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Beau Chene, they will square off against Sam Houston at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Sam Houston's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
