It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Braddock had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Homestead Broncos with a sharp 14-2 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Emely Ramirez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. Ramirez was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 11 times she's played.

In other batting news, Braddock let Anelis Goberna and Emily Cancio run wild.
