Recap: Hermitage Panthers vs. Varina Blue Devils
In what's become a running theme this season, the Hermitage Panthers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They blew past Varina 57-23 at home. The victory was some much needed relief for Hermitage as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Hermitage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayda Thomas, who scored 22 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thomas has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Breyona Robinson, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
The win got Hermitage back to even at 8-8. As for Varina, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
