Melrose-Mindoro came out on top against Pepin/Alma on Tuesday thanks in part to Jacob Thesing's efforts. Thesing wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. The pitching appearance was his fifth straight with six or more strikeouts.
