Baseball Game Preview: Carroll County Cavaliers vs. Patrick County Cougars

Carroll County has won ten straight games at home, while Patrick County has won ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Cavaliers will welcome the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Carroll County 1.9, Patrick County 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

While Carroll County's win against Floyd County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cavaliers won by a run and slipped past the Buffaloes 5-4. The victory continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Buffaloes: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Patrick County got themselves on the board against Floyd County on Tuesday, but Floyd County never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Buffaloes with a sharp 8-0 win.

Carroll County's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Patrick County, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.
