Softball Recap: Cache Bulldogs vs. Weatherford Eagles
Cache lost against Weatherford two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cache Bulldogs took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weatherford Eagles.
Cache's defeat dropped their record down to 17-15. As for Weatherford, the victory (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.
Cache will challenge Elgin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Cache's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so Elgin's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Weatherford, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win vs. Edmond North on the 28th.
