Volleyball Recap: Ossining Takes a Loss

Ossining was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ardsley Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pride of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Ossining started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-27, 25-16, 25-19, 15-9.

Ossining's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Ardsley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2-1.

Ossining does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ardsley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Brewster on the 6th.
