Baseball Recap: Vernon Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Vernon's offense. They came up short against the Sneads Pirates on Wednesday, falling 14-0. The Yellowjackets haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Sneads, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season.

Vernon has already played their next game, a 16-3 win against Bethlehem on the 10th. As for Sneads, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 16-2 victory against Seminole County on the 11th.
