After flying high against Non Varsity Opponent on Tuesday, Roanoke Valley Christian came back down to earth. The EAGLES fell just short of the Temple Christian Crusaders by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Roanoke Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Temple Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Roanoke Valley Christian will venture away from home to challenge Westover Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Roanoke Valley Christian's defense better be ready for this one: Westover Christian Academy have averaged an impressive 3.3 goals per game this season. As for Temple Christian, they will head out to take on United Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
