            Zion Christian Academy easily dispatched Franklin Classical School last Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Zion Christian Academy Eagles fell just short of the Stem Preparatory Academy The Chargers by a score of  77-75 on Friday.
 Despite the loss, Zion Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from   Gabe Davenport, who  went 22 of 37  en route to 53 points in addition to seven  steals and five  rebounds. That was a full 70.7% of Zion Christian Academy's points, marking the 24th time in a row he's   posted  more than a third of the team's points.  Hampton Machado was another key player,  going 5 for 8  on his way to 11  points.
Zion Christian Academy has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record  this season. As for Stem Preparatory Academy, they moved to 3-11 with that  victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.
 Zion Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  100-58  win against Boyd Christian on the 4th. Stem Preparatory Academy has also  already played their next contest,  an  80-40  loss against LEAD Academy on the 4th.
