Football Recap: Sumter County Piles Up the Points Against Jordan + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sumter County). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Jordan Red Jackets 62-0. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Special teams played a big role in the game for Sumter County, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Alex Brown, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

The victory keeps Sumter County at an undefeated 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.8 points on average this season. As for Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
