Soccer Game Preview: Carter vs. Pinkston

Carter hasn't had much luck against Pinkston recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Carter Cowboys will be playing at home against the Pinkston Vikings at 8:00 p.m. Pinkston took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Carter, who comes in off a win.

Last Wednesday, Carter earned a 4-2 win over Lincoln.

Meanwhile, Pinkston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Roosevelt.

Pinkston's goal came courtesy of Juan Mendoza, which was the first he's scored this season.

Carter is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-9-1 record this season. Pinkston's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9-1.
