West Jefferson has gone 9-1 against Butte County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The West Jefferson Panthers will head out to face off against the Butte County Pirates at 7:00 p.m. West Jefferson knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Butte County likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, West Jefferson rang in the new year with a 57-46 win over Bear Lake.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Butte County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They claimed a resounding 68-40 victory over Carey.

Butte County's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for West Jefferson, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

West Jefferson was able to grind out a solid win over Butte County in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 71-64. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Jefferson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
