Baseball Recap: Hollidaysburg Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hollidaysburg can now relate to. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Mountain Wildcats on Tuesday. The Golden Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Hollidaysburg saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jay Albarano, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Hollidaysburg's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Central Mountain, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-1.

As of now, neither Hollidaysburg nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
