Football Recap: Oneida Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Oneida's offense. They were beaten by the Christian Academy of Knoxville Warriors 40-0 on Friday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sawyer Anderson was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 156 yards and one touchdown on only ten passes, and also punched in one rushing score. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (145.8).

Oneida's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oneida will face off against Tellico Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Indians' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they will take on Silverdale Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
