Volleyball Recap: Woodlake Comes Up Short

Woodlake lost against Reedley back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reedley was led to victory by Kaylie Thiesen and Jocelyn Rodriguez. Thiesen had 14 assists and five digs, while Rodriguez had five digs and two aces. Thiesen has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 15 times she's played.

Woodlake now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Reedley, their record now sits at 4-1.

Coincidentally, Woodlake and Reedley will both be playing Cabrillo the next time they take the court. The Pirates will head out to face the Conquistadores at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
