Weiss lost to Hendrickson back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Wolves walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Hawks. The win was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on five straight.
Jordynn Booe made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. Booe was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Bel Larsen was a standout: she scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Sofia Alvarez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
