Baseball Recap: Manchester Memorial Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Manchester Memorial's offense. They fell just short of the Pinkerton Astros by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The Crusaders have struggled against the Astros recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Manchester Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Pinkerton, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manchester Memorial will take on rival Exeter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pinkerton is set to square off against their familiar foe Goffstown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Astros 1.9, the Grizzlies 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
