Basketball Recap: Northwest Webster Comes Up Short

Northwest Webster was the 75-53 winner over Alta-Aurelia when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Northwest Webster Cougars came up short against the Alta-Aurelia Warriors on Friday, falling 70-48. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwest Webster's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Alta-Aurelia, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11.

Northwest Webster didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-45 defeat against West Bend-Mallard on the 4th. As for Alta-Aurelia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-51 loss against Emmetsburg on the 4th.
